Nuevo Llamado a Funar Supermercados Coludidos

Tras los movimientos de enero, ahora la convocatoria es para que nadie compre en Unimarc, Lider y Jumbo el próximo domingo 28 de febrero. La última movilización, concretada el 31 del primer mes del año fue calificada como un éxito.

Para el próximo 28 de febrero se convocó a una nueva jornada de funa contra las tres cadenas de supermercados, Lider, Unimarc y Jumbo, denunciadas por la Fiscalía Nacional Económica por presunta colusión en el mercado de la carne fresca de pollo.

Diversas organizaciones sociales, que forman parte del Frente Ciudadano contra la Colusión, llamaron a que ese día nadie compre en dichos establecimientos.

La protesta incluye no asistir a los supermercados Lider, Lider Express, Acuenta, Ekono, Santa Isabel, Jumbo, Unimarc, Mayorista 10, Alvi, Dipac y Comer, SuperBodega, Bigger, y Maxi Ahorro.

Durante enero, los domingos 10 y 31 de enero e llamó a no acudir a los supermercados. La última de estas convocatorias fue calificada como un éxito por parte del movimiento “Aquí la Gente”.

“Ha sido un éxito. Los ciudadanos se están moviendo, los consumidores están hartos, están hasta la ‘coronilla’ de tanto abuso. Cada vez más organizaciones se están sumando a esta convocatoria, cada mes que vamos avanzando será una mayor cantidad de gente”, dijo en esa oportunidad Ernesto Medina.

De acuerdo a la denuncia de la FNE, fechada el 6 de enero de este año, estas tres firmas participaron de un acuerdo, a través de sus proveedores, para fijar el precio de la carne de pollo fresca entre 2008 y 2011.

Junto con la denuncia, el Fiscal Nacional Económico (S), Mario Ybar Abad, pidió las máximas penas pecuniarias para las supermercadistas, esto es 22 millones de dólares a cada una.

Según el comunicado que publicó la Fiscalía en su sitio web, este hecho es una arista del caso del cartel de los pollos en el que participaron y fueron multadas las empresas Agrosuper, Ariztía, Don Pollo, además de la Asociación de Productores Avícolas de Chile.
