El expresidente Sebastián Piñera, recientemente fallecido, viajó el año 2019 a la ciudad colombiana de Cúcuta, invitado por el ex presidente de dicho país Iván Duque, donde se encontraría con otros mandataros sudamericanos, en apoyo a una supuesta sublevación popular contra el gobierno venezolano, que resultó un fracaso total.
No concurrieron a la cita mandatarios de Argentina y Brasil y a última hora también desertó Mike Pence, vicepresidente de Donald Trump, seguramente advertidos que el encuentro sería un fracaso.
Piñera otorgó visas especiales a los venezolanos interesados en emigrar a nuestro país, con el apoyo de su Ministro Pablo Longueira, quién emitiría la famosa frase:
“Vénganse a Chile, ¡tenemos trabajo para todos ustedes!”.
Cúcuta marcaría el inicio de un problema migratorio mayúsculo, para Chile, que terminaría con crearnos un conflicto migratorio actualmente fuera de control, del cual se han aprovechado organizaciones delictuales como el siniestro Tren de Aragua.
Piñera abrió de par en par la puerta a los venezolanos, lo que justificaría varias veces en los meses siguientes.
Resulta inaceptable, fuera de toda ética periodística, la insistencia de la Derecha política chilena, y en especial de su vocero, El Mercurio, por involucrar al gobierno venezolano en el secuestro y muerte del ex oficial venezolano Ronald Ojeda, reprochándole al actual gobierno por un episodio que afortunadamente ha logrado esclarece en tan corto tiempo, al identificar a los culpables, dos de ellos prófugos y uno detenido.
La insistencia por culpar al gobierno venezolano de este crimen, es tan inaceptable, como desentendiéndose de su responsabilidad al abrir las puertas a refugiados sin discriminar respecto a sus antecedentes penales.
En la edición de hoy día Domingo, El Mercurio destina su principal titular del Cuerpo A, a este asunto: “FISCALÍA ATRIBUYE A “CELULA” LIGADA AL CRIMEN ORGANIZADO EL ASESINATO DE OJEDA, PERO PERSISTEN DUDAS SOBRE EL MÓVIL”
Subtitulares: “Plagio “atípico”. Evidencias (¿) indicarían que captores no buscaban dinero mediante una extorsión, sino que habrían ultimado casi de inmediato a su rehén.”
Otro subtitular “Disidente Iván Simónovis insiste en la motivación política. “No hay forma de que me convenzan de que el gobierno de Maduro no está detrás de esto”.

La derecha Política chilena está hoy desorbitada en su afán por hacer imposible la convivencia pacífica en Chile y e impedir por cualquier medio, lícito o no, que el gobierno de Gabrie Boric pueda cumplir con el mandato otorgado por la ciudadanía.
Anticiparse a la investigación recién iniciada, atribuyendo móviles políticos sin fundamentos, a un crimen oportunamente detectado por la policía, es un descaro mayúsculo de quienes promovieron la migración indiscriminada de venezolanos a nuestro país.
Son ellos quienes deben darnos explicaciones al resto de los chilenos, por incentivar una migración masiva a nuestro país, cuyas consecuencias estamos viviendo, entre otros, con este lamentable episodio.
El Mercurio, como siempre, cumple con su misión de ser el brazo publicitario mayor de esta deleznable operación.
Tal como nos enseñaron los alumnos de la Universidad Católica hace ya varias décadas, cuando colgaron un lienzo en el frontis de la Casa Central:
